How CatalystCal is built — where every event comes from, how the impact score is computed, and how the calendar stays current.
The 30-second version
CatalystCal keeps one timeline of market catalysts: earnings dates, macro releases (CPI, payrolls, jobless claims), Treasury auctions, FOMC meetings and Fed speakers. Earnings come from company IR announcements merged with Yahoo Finance's calendar; the macro and central-bank schedule is built from official agency calendars and cross-checked daily against a live market-calendar feed; auctions come straight from the U.S. Treasury. Everything is rebuilt automatically once a day, and every projected date is labeled (est.) until its source confirms it.
